Auditieve stijlbladen
Auditieve stylesheets gebruiken een combinatie van spraaksynthese en geluidseffecten om de gebruiker naar informatie te laten luisteren in plaats van informatie te lezen.
Auditieve presentatie kan worden gebruikt:
- door blinde mensen
- om gebruikers te helpen leren lezen
- om gebruikers met leesproblemen te helpen
- voor thuisentertainment
- in de auto
- door gemeenschappen met een leesbeperking
De auditieve presentatie converteert het document naar platte tekst en voert dit naar een schermlezer (een programma dat alle tekens op het scherm leest).
Een voorbeeld van een auditieve stylesheet:

In het bovenstaande voorbeeld zal de spraaksynthesizer een geluid afspelen en vervolgens de koppen uitspreken met een zeer rijke mannenstem.
