Introductie van het PHP-bestandssysteem
Met de bestandssysteemfuncties kunt u het bestandssysteem openen en manipuleren.
Installatie
De functies van het bestandssysteem maken deel uit van de PHP-kern. Er is geen installatie nodig om deze functies te gebruiken.
Unix / Windows-compatibiliteit
Bij het specificeren van een pad op Unix-platforms wordt een schuine streep (/) gebruikt als directoryscheidingsteken.
Op Windows-platforms kunnen zowel slash (/) als backslash (\) worden gebruikt.
Runtime-configuratie
Het gedrag van de bestandssysteemfuncties wordt beïnvloed door instellingen in php.ini.
