Opdrachtobject
Het ADO Command-object wordt gebruikt om een enkele query uit te voeren op een database. De query kan acties uitvoeren zoals het maken, toevoegen, ophalen, verwijderen of bijwerken van records.
Als de query wordt gebruikt om gegevens op te halen, worden de gegevens geretourneerd als een RecordSet-object. Dit betekent dat de opgehaalde gegevens kunnen worden gemanipuleerd door eigenschappen, verzamelingen, methoden en gebeurtenissen van het Recordset-object.
Het belangrijkste kenmerk van het Command-object is de mogelijkheid om opgeslagen query's en procedures met parameters te gebruiken.
