Web Helpers vereenvoudigt de webontwikkeling en algemene programmeertaken aanzienlijk.
ASP.NET-helpers
ASP.NET-helpers zijn componenten die toegankelijk zijn via enkele regels Razor-code.
U kunt uw eigen helpers bouwen met behulp van de Razor-syntaxis die is opgeslagen als .cshtml-bestanden, of ingebouwde ASP.NET-helpers gebruiken.
In de volgende hoofdstukken van deze tutorial leert u hoe u Razor-helpers kunt gebruiken.

De WebGrid-helper
De WebGrid-helper vereenvoudigt de manier om gegevens weer te geven:
- Stelt automatisch een HTML-tabel in om gegevens weer te geven
- Ondersteunt verschillende opties voor opmaak
- Ondersteunt paging (eerste, volgende, vorige, laatste) door gegevens
- Ondersteunt sorteren door op kolomkoppen te klikken
De kaarthelper
De "Grafiekhelper" kan grafiekafbeeldingen van verschillende typen weergeven met veel opmaakopties en labels.
De Chart-helper kan gegevens uit arrays, uit databases of uit bestanden weergeven.
De WebMail-helper
De WebMail-helper biedt functies voor het verzenden van e-mailberichten met SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol).
De WebImage Helper
De WebImage-helper biedt functionaliteit om afbeeldingen op een webpagina te beheren.

Hulp van derden
Met Razor kunt u profiteren van ingebouwde of externe helpers om het gebruik van e-mail, databases, multimedia en sociale netwerken te vereenvoudigen, evenals vele andere zaken zoals navigatie en webbeveiliging.
