Verbindingsobject
Het ADO-verbindingsobject wordt gebruikt om een open verbinding met een gegevensbron te maken. Via deze verbinding kunt u een database benaderen en manipuleren.
Als u meerdere keren toegang wilt tot een database, moet u een verbinding tot stand brengen met behulp van het Connection-object. U kunt ook verbinding maken met een database door een verbindingsreeks door te geven via een Command- of Recordset-object. Dit type verbinding is echter alleen goed voor één specifieke, enkele query.
