De methode Execute voert een opgegeven query, SQL-instructie, opgeslagen procedure of providerspecifieke tekst uit.
De resultaten worden opgeslagen in een nieuw Recordset-object als het een query is die een rij retourneert. Een gesloten Recordset-object wordt geretourneerd als het geen query is die een rij retourneert.
Opmerking: de geretourneerde recordset is altijd een alleen-lezen, alleen doorsturen-recordset!
Tip: Om een Recordset met meer functionaliteit te maken, maakt u eerst een Recordset-object. Stel de gewenste eigenschappen in en gebruik vervolgens de Open-methode van het Recordset-object om de query uit te voeren.
