De Read-methode wordt gebruikt om de hele stream of een bepaald aantal bytes van een binair Stream-object te lezen en de resulterende gegevens als een variant terug te geven.
Opmerking: deze methode wordt alleen gebruikt met binaire Stream-objecten. Gebruik voor tekst Stream-objecten de ReadText-methode.
Syntaxis
var=objStream.Read numbytes
| Parameter | Description |

| numbytes | Optional. The number of bytes to read from the file,
or a StreamReadEnum value. Default is adReadAll
If you have specified more than the number of bytes left in the Stream, only the bytes remaining are returned. |
StreamReadEnum-waarden
| Constant | Value | Description |
|---|---|---|
| adReadAll | -1 | Default. Reads all bytes from the stream, from the
current position to EOS.
Note: This is the only valid value with binary Stream objects |
