Matplotlib -subplots
Meerdere percelen weergeven
Met de subplots()
functie kun je meerdere plots in één figuur tekenen:
Voorbeeld
Teken 2 plots:
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
import numpy as np
#plot 1:
x =
np.array([0, 1, 2, 3])
y = np.array([3, 8, 1, 10])
plt.subplot(1, 2, 1)
plt.plot(x,y)
#plot 2:
x = np.array([0, 1, 2, 3])
y = np.array([10, 20, 30,
40])
plt.subplot(1, 2, 2)
plt.plot(x,y)
plt.show()

De subplots() Functie
De subplots()
functie heeft drie argumenten die de lay-out van de figuur beschrijven.
De lay-out is georganiseerd in rijen en kolommen, die worden weergegeven door het eerste en tweede argument.
Het derde argument vertegenwoordigt de index van de huidige plot.
plt.subplot(1, 2, 1)
#the figure has 1 row, 2 columns, and this plot is the first plot.
plt.subplot(1, 2, 2)
#the figure has 1 row, 2 columns, and this plot is the second plot.
Dus als we een figuur willen met 2 rijen en 1 kolom (wat betekent dat de twee grafieken boven elkaar worden weergegeven in plaats van naast elkaar), kunnen we de syntaxis als volgt schrijven:
Voorbeeld
Teken 2 plots op elkaar:
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
import numpy as np
#plot 1:
x =
np.array([0, 1, 2, 3])
y = np.array([3, 8, 1, 10])
plt.subplot(2, 1, 1)
plt.plot(x,y)
#plot 2:
x = np.array([0, 1, 2, 3])
y = np.array([10, 20, 30,
40])
plt.subplot(2, 1, 2)
plt.plot(x,y)
plt.show()
Resultaat:
U kunt zoveel percelen tekenen als u wilt op één figuur, beschrijf gewoon het aantal rijen, kolommen en de index van de plot.
Voorbeeld
Teken 6 plots:
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
import numpy as np
x = np.array([0,
1, 2, 3])
y = np.array([3, 8, 1, 10])
plt.subplot(2, 3, 1)
plt.plot(x,y)
x = np.array([0, 1, 2, 3])
y = np.array([10, 20, 30,
40])
plt.subplot(2, 3, 2)
plt.plot(x,y)
x = np.array([0, 1,
2, 3])
y = np.array([3, 8, 1, 10])
plt.subplot(2, 3, 3)
plt.plot(x,y)
x = np.array([0, 1, 2, 3])
y = np.array([10, 20, 30, 40])
plt.subplot(2, 3, 4)
plt.plot(x,y)
x = np.array([0, 1, 2, 3])
y =
np.array([3, 8, 1, 10])
plt.subplot(2, 3, 5)
plt.plot(x,y)
x
= np.array([0, 1, 2, 3])
y = np.array([10, 20, 30, 40])
plt.subplot(2,
3, 6)
plt.plot(x,y)
plt.show()

Titel
U kunt aan elk perceel een titel toevoegen met de title()
functie:
Voorbeeld
2 percelen, met titels:
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
import numpy as np
#plot 1:
x =
np.array([0, 1, 2, 3])
y = np.array([3, 8, 1, 10])
plt.subplot(1, 2, 1)
plt.plot(x,y)
plt.title("SALES")
#plot 2:
x = np.array([0, 1, 2, 3])
y = np.array([10, 20, 30,
40])
plt.subplot(1, 2, 2)
plt.plot(x,y)
plt.title("INCOME")
plt.show()
Resultaat:
Supertitel
Je kunt een titel aan het hele figuur toevoegen met de suptitle()
functie:
Voorbeeld
Voeg een titel toe voor de hele afbeelding:
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
import numpy as np
#plot 1:
x =
np.array([0, 1, 2, 3])
y = np.array([3, 8, 1, 10])
plt.subplot(1, 2, 1)
plt.plot(x,y)
plt.title("SALES")
#plot 2:
x = np.array([0, 1, 2, 3])
y = np.array([10, 20, 30,
40])
plt.subplot(1, 2, 2)
plt.plot(x,y)
plt.title("INCOME")
plt.suptitle("MY SHOP")
plt.show()
